What we do
Our core focus is on Foods, Construction, Resources and Properties, with additional sector participation in Energy, Printing, Retail and Education further emphasizing our level of diversity within the B2B and B2C sectors. We are a global Foods manufacturer; an industry leader in all key areas of Construction; an international Printing and Publishing House; an Education provider, and a Retail franchise overseer for world-renowned brands.
Where we operate
Based in our native Dubai, Al - Futtaim directs operations spanning 20 countries on four continents – meeting vital human needs from nutrition to housing; energy to education. Our Food operations include flour mills in Dubai, Lebanon, Sudan, Algeria and Sri Lanka; our rice production facilities in Lahore, Pakistan serve Retail and Bulk markets throughout the Middle East and North Africa; and the one million packs of noodles we produce every day are seen on supermarket shelves from North Africa to Asia.
Then and now
The original Al - Futtaim corporation was founded in Dubai at the beginning of the 1960’s and remained a single family entity for more than three decades. In the 1990’s the corporation evolved into two unique yet complementary businesses.
